Nepatri urcite k nejvyssim, ale je zajimava tim, ze jeji vystavba je spojena se jmenem cloveka, ktery ji postavil na vlastnim pozemku na sve vlastni naklady, a to vcetne prijezdove komunikace, postavil ji na miste s nadhernym vyhledem a ucinil ji volne pristupnou (tedy bez poplatku!) komukoliv, kdo se chce potesit pohledem na okolni krajinu. Clovek, o kterém je rec, je Vilem Bystron z Valasského Mezirici a patri mu nas velky dik za tento pocin.
S vystavbou zapocal na podzim roku 2008, vztyceni drevene konstrukce probehlo na Silvestra téhoz roku, na jare 2009 pak byla vez dokoncena. Rozhledna je vysoka 14 m, vyhlidkova plosina je ve vysce 11 m. Celkove naklady odhadnul majitel na 250 tisic Kc. Vez byva v noci osvetlena, ale nocni navstevy doporucuji pouze s velkou davkou opatrnosti a urcite bez alkoholového dopingu! Z rozhledny jsou za hezkeho pocasi krasne vyhledy na Jeseniky, Beskydy, Valasske Mezirici a okolni obce.

Nejzazsí bod, kam se dostanete s autem, aniz by na vas mistni usedlici postvali sva domaci zvirata, je zde: N49° 26.834 E17° 57.449. Na toto misto se vsak vejde maximalne jedno auto - naves je jistejsí :-).
Na kole nebo "po svych" se k rozhledne dostanete bez potizi po mistni asfaltove komunikaci, ktera v zaveru prechazi v polni kamenitou cestu. K rozhledne ale vede vice cest, doporucuji proto prostudovat mapu a nejit slepe za sipkou.

Je podzim 2019 a já musím bohužel konstatovat, že o rozhledně je nutno mluvit již pouze v minulém čase. Déšť, vítr a mráz již nahlodaly její dřevěnou konstrukci natolik, že bylo nutno ji demontovat. I tak však stojí za to si na Krplov vyšlápnout kvůli pohledu, který se Vám zejména za hezkého počasí naskytne.
Keska se nachazi pobliz rozhledny. Není nutno nikam splhat, nikde hrabat, ani vyvijet nadmernou namahu :-).
Krplov lookout tower A wooden lookout tower on Krplov hill with a beautiful view of Valasske Mezirici and its surroundings
At present, there are about 300 lookout towers in the Czech Republic. The Krplov lookout tower might not be the highest one, but it is interesting in its own way. It was built by an ordinary man, on his own land and at his own expenses, which also covered a construction of an access road. He made it accessible for everyone who wants to enjoy the view of the surrounding landscape (for free!). This man is Vilem Bystron from Valasske Mezirici and he deserves a big “thank you” from all of us.
The construction began in the fall of 2008; the wooden structure was put up by the New Year’s Eve of the same year. The construction was finished in spring 2009. The lookout tower is 14 meters high with a lookout platform 11 meters above the ground. The total costs have been assessed at 250,000 CZK (about 10,000 EUR). The tower is lighted at night but if you are planning a night visit, I recommend extreme caution and strongly advise against climbing up “under the influence”! If the weather is nice, you can see Jeseniky and Beskydy mountains, Valasske Mezirici and surrounding villages.
Recommended parking is on the village square in Jarcova: N49° 26.798 E17° 58.085. The farthest you can get by car without being chased by the locals and their animals is here: N49° 26.834 E17° 57.449. But only one car can be parked there, so the village square is the safe bet :-).
If you’re going by bike or on foot, you will easily get to the lookout tower following the asphalt road, which at the end changes into a stony one. There are more ways leading to the tower, I recommend looking at the map beforehand, don't just follow the arrow.

The cache is close to the tower. You don’t need to climb anywhere, dig in the ground or strain yourself.
