Geocache Description:

It is important to park off the road - there is no parking on the bridge.

No need to scramble on rocks, get wet, or reach into round holes.

Please assist in "Trash out" by taking a plastic packet filled with rubbush home with you.

Be aware that during heavy rainfall it is not safe to be in the area.

This bridge was washed away over the August 2006 floods. It took over two years to redesign and rebuild it. Once it was on the outskirts of PE, now it's a busy thoroughfare for the Western side residents of PE.

The retaining wall along the side of the Kragga Kamma road used a new design Maccaferri retaining wall consisting of pre-cast panels that fit together like a puzzle. For pictures and story about the problems encountered when building this bridge see (visit link)
