A multicache that takes you on a short walk through one of the fine parks of Oslo. Respect the rules: Do not step into the flower beds. Bring your own pen.
En kort multi som tar deg gjennom en flott park i Oslo. Vis respekt for reglene: Ikke tråkk i blomsterbeddene. Ta med egen penn.
NOTE 1:The final cache is easy to grab from outside of the garden. Do NOT look for it from the inside - you may destroy plants and small bushes.
MERK: Cachen finnes enkelt fra utsiden av gjerdet. IKKE let etter den fra innsiden - du kan komme til å ødelegge planter og busker.
NOTE 2:Stage 2 - Stage 7 of this cache are only accesible when the botanical garden is open: March 15th. - Sept. 30th: 07:00 - 21:00 (Mon-Fri) & 10:00 - 21:00 (Sat-Sun). Oct. 1st - March 14th: 07:00 - 17:00 (mon-Fri) & 10:00 - 17:00 (Sat-Sun). NB! Opening hours per july 2011.
Oslo Botanical Garden
The Botanical Garden in Oslo is part of the Museums for Natural History (NHM). The Botanical Garden and the museums within it are among Oslo's most popular attractions, with tourists and local visitors alike. The garden is especially beautiful in spring and summer, but you can learn and marvel all year round at NHM. The Botanical Garden, founded in 1814, belongs to the Natural History Museum of the University of Oslo. Through research, education and plant conservation, the garden seeks to increase public awareness of the importance of plant diversity. The plant collections contain approx. 7500 species.
