Geocache Description:

Hidden on the most northerly point of Africa (nearly). The cache site is fairly exposed in all sorts of ways (friable rock, windy, overlooked by National Guard station), so be careful!

Cache is a snaplock plastic box, made of see-through orange plastic.

The ground around the site is fairly rough, and the cliff is falling, slowly, into the sea. Access onto the headland is over loose stone and shale above the cliffs down to the bay, so be careful.

The risk of muggles is fairly low, although there may be fishermen below you in the bays either side of this headland. However, please be aware that there is a National Guard lookout station above you, who may well be interested in what you're doing, so please look like you're just picnic-ing!

Cap Blanc, near Binzerte, is often thought to be the most northerly point of mainland Africa and this is where the cache is hidden, but actually Ras ben Sakka is the most northerly point - 30m further north and about 7km to the west. It's called 'Nearly Northerly' because we couldn't get easy access to Ras ben Sakka, so this is the nearly most Northerly point of Africa.
