Guildford Chantries - South. One of a series of nine.
The cache is a PETtube, at N end of diagonal strut.
The Chantries form part of the ridge of the North Downs, just to the South of Guildford. Chantry Wood is 78 hectares of mixed woodland and an Area of High Ecological Value within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in striking distance of Guildford Town Centre.
The Chantries are popular with walkers (and dogs) all year. Rabbits, deer, badgers and foxes live wild there. In April/May the wooded area is a mass of bluebells. The top of the hill has open fields with stunning views to the south.
Please ensure that the cache is left hidden from casual view. The "First to Find" was Amberel.

Please only log a find if you have signed the log. If you haven't, try adding a "write note" instead. Thanks.
