The Altnew series comprises 7 caches placed on a circular walk, which starts in Altofts, touches on the edge of the historic Newlands estate and offers glimpses of Normanton, Wakefield and even Emley Moor mast on a clear day. Although part of a series, each Altnew cache is loggable in its own right.
The whole walk should take between 60 to 75 minutes and is virtually all a mixture of clearly defined field paths and old roads. These can become very muddy in wet conditions and walking boots are recommended.
THERE IS NO LONGER A BONUS ON THIS SERIES
This cache, Altnew 1, is a small black container with a log and pencil and room for small swops and tb’s. Please replace it as you find it
