Geocache Description:

This is part of a series of 9 caches in a walk starting at Hammerfield! The bridleway is right next to a drive and house so keep your eye out for muggles. The owners of the house have noticed at least one geocacher. Please make sure cache is well hidden as it could be very easy to spot if not covered well.

The walk takes between one and a half and two and a half hours depending on how quickly you walk and how quickly you find them - they are all quite easy though. We suggest you go anti-clockwise to avoid the long uphill stretch.

Suggested route- The Holly and the.. >> An Arboreal Marriage >> Hollow Bottom >> Pricke Patch >> Knobbly Bottom >> Devil's Throne (Almost) >> Hedgerow Hide >> Stumpy >> Hammerfield

Feel free to park at Hammerfield Farm N51°00.288 W000°47.977 where the largest of the 9 caches is placed.

The caches are hidden on bridleways, paths and minor lanes. Traffic tends to be light though. The bridleways can be muddy, bumpy and rather holey. Parking is available near(ish) to all of the caches if you want to do them quickly. See individual entries.

The route can be cycled non-stop in about 20 minutes but there are two inclines.

Additional parking is available at the start of the bridleway - cache is a short walk down it.
