[DE] Das Dekanatsmuseum Haus wurde 1964 von Prof. Walter Stipperger (1919-2005) gegründet. Seit 1977 befindet sich das Museum im ehem. Zehentspeicher der Pfarre Haus im Südtrakt des Hauser Pfarrhofes
Die Gründung des Museums erfolgte nachdem Prof. Stipperger im Jahre 1962 den ehem. Karner der Pfarre Haus (verschlossen unter Kaiser Joseph II) freigelegt und in der darüberliegenden Katharinen-Kapelle eine kleine Ausstellung für die Pfarre aufgebaut hatte. Die Schau sollte den Grundstein für die Sammlungstätigkeit von Prof. Stipperger im oberen Ennstal legen, aus der schließlich das Museum in seiner heutigen Form entstand.
Das Museum befasst sich inhaltlich mit folgenden Bereichen:
Die Geschichte der ehemaligen Mutterpfarre bzw. des Kreisdekanates Haus im Ennstal (daher der Name Dekanatsmuseum) , Reformation / Gegenreformation, Jahrlauf / Lebenslauf und Volksfrömmigkeit / Aberglaube, religiöse Kunst.
[E] The museum of the deanery Haus was founded in 1964 by Prof. Walter Stipperger (1919-2005). Since 1977 the museum is located in the rectory’s former tithestorage.
After the rediscovery of the parish’s ossuary, located underneath the chapel of St. Katharine in the cemetery area, Prof. Stipperger established a temporary exhibition documenting the excavation of the ossuary and the historical importance of Haus im Ennstal.
This temporary exhibition marked the beginning of the permanent exhibition in the museum.
