Geocache Description:

Night Cache in The Sam Houston National Forest. Bring a good flashlight. Park on the I-45 frontage road by the access to the Lone Star Trail.

This cache was placed in honor of The Norman's birthday since he absolutely loves night caches. And the name is because he loves both Van Gogh and Don McLean. On the birthday hunt, the Normettes complained about the difficulty, so we added a few extra intermediate waypoints recently. You shouldn't have any problems. Just follow the dots. A strong flashlight will help. You might have to step away from a waypoint 2-3 feet to find the next one, but don't wander any further than that. Don't attach any special attention to the number of dots, the color of the dots or the pattern of the dots, because there is no significance. After finding the cache, use your GPS to find your way back to the Lone Star Trail; don't try to retrace your steps (or you might get lost). It will be obvious when you get to the cache. After finding the cache, turn off your flashlights and appreciate the stars.
