This is the first cache ever placed by Troop73Novato. The title reflects our Troop Motto. This small cache is just off the Deer Island Loop Trail.
Our Troop came out to Deer Island for our first ever Geocaching hike on Saturday, Dec 18, 2010. We had 20 scouts and parents on this hike and we worked on the new Geocaching Merit Badge. We also had some long time geocachers by the names of tradajo and geojammers to help show us the ropes. Other cachers with us today were monkeyman147 and bound to be eagle.
Please enjoy this wonderful place called Deer Island which is part of the Marin Open Space District. Please remember to tread lightly and of course, "Leave No Trace". (Well, except for this well hidden cache... :-D )
