WA Caching 10th Birthday Bash
Albany 2011

Ten years ago Lyn Pat and Nathan set WA's first cache: GC576 Albany Quarantine - still going strong.

To celebrate we are hosting the tenth birthday celebrations in Albany on the March long weekend.

Event headquarters:

• All organised events will be held at the Royal's Football Club at the Albany Showgrounds, centrally located in the city
• If you need a break the kettle is on all day if you want to drop in
• Geocoin display area for discovery and grabs
• The Jockaroo.com.au caching store will be available to provide all kinds of caching must-haves

Program for the day:

• 9:00 Registration and complimentary morning tea
• Day free for caching
• 3:30 Afternoon tea and caching games
• 6:30 Buffet dinner with licensed bar

Exciting plans

• New caches for the FTF hunters
• Intriguing puzzles, great camos
• ABCD - the A Busy Caching Day challenge - with six new cache types on the day plus a webcam and earthcache already here, this one should be achievable by everyone
• A Roymerc technical masterpiece is going to be installed near to GZ so that everyone can see another one of the unique creations that we have come to love
• Plus, if you have any great ideas, let us know and we'll see if we can add them in

Cost?

• A gold coin donation would be appreciated to help cover venue hire costs
• Dinner is $25 for adults, $15 for 6 to 13 year olds and free for under 6's
• There will be raffles at the dinner
