WARNING: Snakes have been spotted in (very) close proximity to the cache. As with all creatures in the bush be aware that you are sharing their HOME and show them the respect the deserve.
Facilities include toilets, fire places, picnic tables a large grassy area for kicking the footy or throwing the Frisbee. There is an under cover eating area with fire places and tables if the weather turns on you. I recommend taking some firewood and marshmallows to round out your meal with some toasted marshmallows.
If numbers are your thing, there are plenty of drive-by caches on the way out here, just leave yourself plenty of time.
If you'd prefer some walks, there is the Fern Wark and Bendora's Box geocaches a few kilometres walk away plus the Bulls Head Trig less than 1 km down a track from the picnic area.
The cache itself is a 300-odd metre walk from the picnic area in a lovely alpine clearing. The rock pile near GZ is a historic border marker and has ACT Heritage status. Please do not disturb it, the cache is 1 metre away from it under a small bush.
