Arrrrrrr me hearties!!!! This be a child-friendly trading
cache in a great location - and don't forget to bring bread for the
ducks!
This one is a simple
letterbox cache with a bit of a twist for the kiddies.
If you're in a hurry, you salty sea dogs, then the co-ordinates at
the top of this page will take you directly to the treasure. But if
you have young 'uns in your party, or you're just a big kid
yourself, you might like to take a different route....
The waypoint co-ordinates listed below (Map Start Point) will take
you to a location close to the cache, from which point you can
follow this authentic pirate's map to the treasure chest:

The 'treasure chest' itself is a whopping great 4 litre lock n lock
box, which we have packed to the gills with pirate-themed swag to
start with. It would be great if you could stick to the theme when
you trade, but it's definitely not compulsory.
There is a special prize in there for the first to find: a
hand-crafted chain maille bracelet, plus an FTF badge
For those of you not familiar with letterbox hybrid caches - please
note that the rubber stamp and ink pad which are in the pencil case
with the log book are NOT SWAG - and are NOT to be removed from the
cache - thank you!
Other than the above, this cache behaves just like any other
geocache. So please don't be put off from finding it if you aren't
a letterboxing enthusiast.
