Reflect, Resolve and Regift II Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

North County Cachers: Among the winners and honorable mentions of the Prognostications, Predictions and Resolutions categories:

"I predict that in 2011, geocaching will be voted in as an Olympic event. Contestants will be judged by 'acting casual' in front of muggles, First to Find, and total number of caches found. Training will begin at the Olympic Training Center in Eastlake for the 2012 Olympics in London."

"The Thirsty Ladies will hydrate."

"I predict in 2011 that Redrox will hide 10 more caches but 5 of them will be blown up by the bomb squad."

"Someone in San Diego County will create a hide so awesome that cachers from around the world will plan vacations around it."

"Someone will attend over 100 events in one year."

"Virtual caches will return."

"Mount St. Helens will erupt while a geocacher is at the top."

"I resolve to be a better friend, make more contact with current friends, be less critical of others and find more caches this year than last year."

Here's hoping that some, if not all, of those things come true!
See you next year!

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

As yet another caching year draws to a close,
let us join together to look back on our past follies,
look forward to our future triumphs
and stick somebody else with that gift we really don't want.

.

Come enjoy pizza and beverages for our last Meet 'n Greet of 2010 at the Round Table in Escondido at 6 PM. Be prepared to talk story, tell tales and speculate what your next year of geocaching will bring.
Going to hit a milestone?
Put out a 5***** difficulty cache?
Buy a chirp?
What's your New Year's Geoaching Resolution???

Will you do something to improve, enhance or extend your participation and/or make geocaching better overall??

Prizes will be awarded for the top prognostications and proposals. Extra credit given for humor, originality and feasibility.

Since we had so much fun at it last year, we'll also hold a gift exchange for those interested. Bring a wrapped something-or-other with a value of $15 or less if you'd like to participate. We'll pick numbers and do a steal-exchange.

Remember to bring the kids to enhance the chaos. Sometimes ear plugs are helpful, too.

One black service-dog-in-training will be on hand to provide therapy for them that needs it.
