Part of a circular 3.4mile (5.5km) walk from Woldingham station. Woldingham is in the Surrey Hills ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ (AONB), and is surrounded by steep hills and sweeping valleys. The walk follows quiet residential roads, and passes through some woodland and farmland. Having given walkers of our other circuits some muddy times, this one is fairly mud-free but still would benefit from stout footwear.

There are a variety of ways to get here - you can cut straight down the footpath, but it may be nicer to take the road around to the right and follow it round the village if you want to see some more of the original barracks.
