Solutions to the clues below will provide the missing numbers in the Sudoku grid that, when solved, will reveal the location of the final cache.
A = Word score for “EIGHT”
B = Square root of squares on chess board
C = most common domino value or dice throw
D = Word score for “THREE” minus word score for “FOUR”
E = rent for Park Lane minus rent for Oxford Street
F = players required for gin rummy
G = players in netball team
H = players remaining at a doubles semi-final stage
I = number of stations or suits
There is a jpeg link below to another version of this called “Grid for Completion”; this can be printed and used to substitute the numeric clue solutions for the letters above in order to solve the Sudoku. This version then enables the completed puzzle to be translated into a set of coordinates for the final cache.

The Puzzle: The clues are all based on common games/sports and are intended to be “fun” to solve, rather than hugely challenging; however, the Sudoku puzzle which must be solved to give the final coordinates may prove slightly more demanding, depending on your degree of familiarity/skill with such puzzles.
The Location: The cache location can be reached by a pleasant (and popular) walk from Cambridge across Grantchester meadows (about 2.5 miles from the centre of town or about 1.5 miles from the indicated parking). Alternatively, parking is available in Grantchester village.
The Cache: a medium (6x6 inch) Lock & Lock box.
The area close to GZ is now quite overgrown, so shorts and sandals (as I wore on a recent visit) are not recommended!.
Initial Cache Contents: Usual log book etc; FTF certificate; 2 Excalibur Geocoins; plus a few other swappables
