We'd like to organise a trackable race from Canada back to
Australia to coincide with a similar race being held by the
Geocaching Community of Greater Victoria (GCGV) in Victoria, BC.
The aim of the event is to collect as many trackables as
possible to take part in the race. We'll ship them to the GCGV (via
the Landsharkz) in Victoria, BC, and they'll arrange an event to
release the trackables back into the wild so they can race back to
Australia.
The
official race rules are now online. Rather than having the race
be a straight "who can get to the finish line first", we're
adopting the same basic guidelines as the GCGV's race.
We'll even prepare some mission cards, so that people who find
your TB will know that it's part of the race.
So, come along to John Knight Park in Belconnen at 3pm, catch up
with all the local cachers for Christmas and be part of the big
race!
