Geocache Description:

Small magnetic nano. Please take a pen/cil with you to sign the logbook.

Wilford supension bridge was designed by architect Arthur Brown. It cost Nottingham Corporation £8.871 to construct. In today's money, that is the equivalent of £650.000.

The principal purpose of the pedestrian footbridge and aqeduct was to carry water to the Wilford Hill reservoir.

The bridge required major structural work and was closed to the public in 2008. It reopened in February 2010 after work costing £1.9 million.

FTF Honours go to Northking, who escaped a sickly house to go and bag this one.
