Geocache Description:

The Romsley Quest (RQ) series is a circular walk of just over 4 miles to the east of the village of Romsley. Although the caches are numbered, you can start the walk from any point, and go round it clockwise or anti-clockwise.

The route goes past the location of the Dowery Dell Viaduct cache

There are eight caches to find, plus a ninth bonus cache, whose co-ords can be derived by gathering the bonus numbers, which are written in full inside the lids of caches 2, 4 and 6, and on the logsheet in cache 8. As soon as you discover the bonus numbers, it is recommended that you work out the bonus co-ords, otherwise you might have to retrace your steps!

An OS map of the area would be useful to take along. Please stick to the marked paths. There are lots of stiles, most of which are not dog-friendly. The paths can get very, very muddy, boots or wellies are highly recommended.

This cache is not at the above co-ordinates. It is somewhere along the route between caches RQ4 and RQ5. Using the bonus numbers collected from a previous cache in this series, the co-ords are:

N 52 25.(B+C) (C-B) (A-B)
W 002 02. (C+D) (A-D) (A-B)

This cache is a screwtop peach jar, and contains a custom-made “First To Find” Scoubie intended as a reward for the FTF!
