[de] Zur Erinnerung an das ehemalige, deutsche Dorf Ponacken / Ostpreussen
[en] In rememberance to the ruinous, German village Ponacken / East Prussia

Heute erinnern nur noch einige Ruinen an das Dorf mit seinen zwei Bauernhöfen in der Region Kaliningrad (Königsberg) / Russland. Die Familien und alle Arbeiter mussten Ende Januar 1945 vor der vorrückenden Roten Armee über den Ostseehafen Pillau (heute: Baltijsk) fliehen.
Der Cache ist in einer grossen Kastanie (die einzige im Umkreis) versteckt. Dieser Baum schmückte einst die Treppe zum Wohnhaus von 'Robert Huuck'. Dessen Ruinen sind auch nach zahlreichen Gefechten und Plünderungen noch immer sichtbar.

Today only ruins can be found where once the small village with its two farms were located in the Kaliningrad Oblast / Russia. The families along with the laborers had to flee from the advancing Red Army end of January 1945 over the Baltic Sea through Pillau (today: Baltiysk).
The cache is hidden in an old chestnut tree (the only one nearby). This tree once decorated the stairs to the residential building of 'Robert Huuck'. Its ruins are still clearly visible even after numerous combats and lootings.

Сегодня только руины могут быть найдены где когда-то маленькой деревне с двумя хозяйств, расположенных в Калининградской области / Россия. семей вместе с рабочими были вынуждены бежать из наступающей Красной Армии конце января 1945 года над Балтийским морем через Пиллау (ныне: Балтийск).
кэш висит от старого дерева каштана (только один рядом). Это дерево когда-то украшали лестнице на жилой дом 'Роберт Huuck'. Его руины до сих пор отчетливо видны даже после многочисленных боев и грабежей.
