Church Micro 1488 - Washbrook Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

ginger007: A hard decision, but when we checked at the weekend the nearby house is now fully occupied (previously being renovated). As the cache is near to the bottom of their garden and is clearly overlooked, decided to close this one down.

Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

This cache is, well, a little different. Please return as you find (if you do find), as I feel the cache hide is a little special.
The cache is a nano logbook in a non-nano cache. When you find it, you will understand this description.

St Mary is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, and this apparent remoteness was one of the contributory causes of redundancy being declared in the 1990s. Matters had come to a head when the single figure congregation were presented with a six figure restoration bill - this church was declared redundant for the best of all possible reasons

If any body would like to add to this series, please do, but could you please let sadexploration know first, so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.

please do not destroy the flint wall - it is not there!
