Am 30.11.2010 wurde der skywalk allgäu, auch "Baumwipfelpfad" genannt, eröffnet. Dabei handelt es sich um einen hängebrückenartigen Rundweg in Höhe der Baumwipfel, der einen herrlichen Rundumblick über den Bodensee, das Alpenvorland und die Alpen bietet. Außerdem gibt es einen Aussichtsturm, eine Abenteuerhängebrücke, Röhrenrutsche, und am Boden Erlebnispfade sowie einen Abenteuerspielplatz mit verschiedensten Spielgeräten. Auch für das leibliche Wohl ist gesorgt.
Mein dritter Cache befindet sich ganz in seiner Nähe, außerhalb aber in Sichtweite des Geländes. Um den Cache zu finden muss also kein Eintritt gezahlt werden. Die Preise sind nicht ganz günstig; die Entscheidung liegt bei euch ob ihr rein gehen wollt oder nicht.
Der Skywalk ist dank Aufzug Rollstuhl- und Kinderwagentauglich (vom Parkplatz aus muss allerdings erst mal eine beachtliche Steigung bewältigt werden!). Der Cache allerdings nicht, da man über einen schmalen Waldpfad zu ihm gelangt; ca. 250m einfach, die letzten 60m sind abseits des Weges. Im Winter liegt hier üblicherweise sehr viel Schnee, was eine Bergung sehr schwierig bis unmöglich machen kann.
Sofern ihr nicht von Möggers kommt, werdet ihr außerdem eine "Grenzerfahrung" machen :-) da der Cache auf der Vorarlberger Seite (A) liegt, während der skywalk sich in Bayern (D) befindet.
Sucht euch in der Nähe von P1 (N47 33.836 E9 49.934) einen Parkplatz - seit der Saison 2015 werden hier leider Parkgebühren verlangt :-(. Folgt dem Weg bis zum Wegpunkt W1 (N47 33.768 E9 49.655). Von dort geht's gerade aus weiter zum Eingang des Skywalk, oder der Beschilderung nach Richtung Ulrichskapelle (Südwest) zum Cache (N47 33.734 E9 49.509). Der Empfang kann hier etwas schlecht sein, daher bitte Hint und Spoilerbild beachten. Viel Spaß!

This cache is located near the skywalk allgäu, a plank bridge like roundway at the height of the tree tops with an amazing view on Lake Constance and the Alps.
You don't have to pay the admission charge to find the cache, since it is hidden outside the sykwalk area.
The skywalk is accessable for children's push chair or wheelchair since there is an elevator (however the way from the parking up to the skywalk is relatively steep!); but the cache isn't, since the way to the cache leads over a small forest path (about 250m one way) and the last 60m are off trail. In winter there is usually very much snow, which can make it very hard or even impossible to find the cache.
If you don't approach the cache from Möggers, you'll also have a "borderline experience" :-) since the cache is located in Vorarlberg, Austria, while the skywalk is located in Bayern, Germany.
Park somewhere near P1 (N47 33.836 E9 49.934); unfortunately you'll have to pay a parking fee. Follow the way from P1 to waypoint W1 (N47 33.768 E9 49.655). From there, go straight on to the entrance of the skywalk, or go southwest to the cache (N47 33.734 E9 49.509).
