Geocache Description:

Pápa's first traditional cache

This is Pápa's first tradiotional cache. Well this is not really true. Someone told us there are more traditional caches in Pápa but, they are listed on the Hungarian geocache site. This cache is only listed on the international geocache website, and on that site this cache is the first traditional in Pápa. This cache is only listed on the geocaching.com site. Please don't visit this cache after dark, the neighbours are complaining about torch light in their living room

If somebody knows who Viczai Janos was and what he did, we realy like to know. We tried to find something about him on the internet, but couldn't find anything (in English). We would like to know because we live in this street.

We recieved a reaction from the first finder about Viczai János. Viczai János was shut down in 1919, after the fall of the communist regime of that year.
Unfortunately we can't find more about this man.

In the cache you will find a loggbook, pencil (not for trade!) and a wooden coin. There is a certificate for the first finder :-)
