In October of 2010, the small community of Navan unveiled a new Cenotaph to honour the men and women from the community who died in combat with the Canadian Forces since 1899. A lot of the funding for this project came from the pockets of the people who live in Navan, which goes to show the pride this community has for its veterans. I placed this cache in the early morning of November 11th 2010 in recognition of the first remembrance day ceremony held at the new cenotaph. ---Contents of the cache are: An inukshuk key chain for the FTF, Red "Support the Troops" button, log, And a Poppy.
October 15, 2014: Just to advise that there are currently two containers at GZ, as the individuals that took the original container have since returned it.
There is now a camouflaged and uncamouflaged bison tube in the tree.
The next time I am out that way, I will stop by and remove one of the container
