Geocache Description:

The Hartfield Link is the third in a chain of three walks that meet up, so are linked together. The others are the Ashurst Wood Link and the Forest Row Link. Each one can be done separately, or you can do two together for a longer walk, or all three for a very long walk.

The Hartfield Link is a circular walk of about 6 miles, along which there are 24 traditional caches which are mostly micros (no pencils) but there are four larger caches for your swaps. The terrain is quite undulating, and there are a few muddy bits. Dogs are allowed, but there are quite a lot of pheasants in the area, several fields of livestock, and two sections along a country lane, so they would need to be kept on a lead for quite a lot of the walk.

Suggested parking is along the main village street in Hartfield opposite the pubs.

This circular walk can also be done from Holtye to the north, starting with #14.

PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE ALONG ANY PRIVATE ROADS TO REACH ANY OF MY CACHES.
