This is an easy Cache to the north of Maulin on Co. Wicklow. Theres is a bit of a hike up to the Cache, The cache is located on one of the new walking routes up Maulin, the terrain is good and the walk is suitable for children. The route has views of Powerscourt Waterfall, Djouce, The Glencree Valley and the Great Sugar Loaf, so make sure to bring your camera!
The Cache is a small, blue plastic lunchbox and is hidden alongside the trail leading up Maulin. Parking can be found at Crone Wood Car Park (Grid Reference O 192 142 on OSI maps) The Car Park does close at night so contact this website for opening hours - (visit link)

Directions to Crone Wood - Follow the R760 from Enniskerry, after about 3km take a right turn, following the signs for Powerscourt Waterfall, once facing the Waterfall entrance turn right uphill and follow this small road for 1.5km. Crone Wood is on the Left.
To hike to the Cache - Follow the Wicklow Way for 1.5km until you reach an information sign, behind you is Powerscourt Waterfall. There is a small trail turning off to your right hand side, this trail leads right to the Cache!
