It's time for the local geocaching
community to have a little Christmas
PARTY!
This event will be a potluck so if you can
bring something for folks to nibble on and share it would be
appreciated. Paper plates, cups, etc. will be provided. Please
indicate in your 'will attend' log what you'll be bringing so we
don't double up.
As well, we're going to do a gift exchange! If
you bring a gift, you get a ticket to put in the gift draw bag. Be
as creative as you wish! It's just for fun and participation is
optional. (Gift cost limit is $15.00).
This event will also be the launch of a new
competition:
GCGV Track Me Challenge
2011
Everyone can participate so please read all about
it on our website at
GCGV.CA and bring your trackable with you. If you can't attend
the event you can still enter your trackable, just make sure it
gets to the event on time. This will be a year-long race and
promises to be very exciting so you won't want to miss out on the
action.
This Christmas gathering is your chance to discuss hints, puzzles,
new technology, past events and maybe some ideas for the new year.
Trade and discover travel bugs and geocoins. If you're a new
cacher, bring your GPS and questions. We have a very knowledgeable
group. Bring the kids!
Take a break from holiday shopping! Come by and have a chat with
your fellow geocachers. See you there!
