The Venetians started construction works about 1300. The wall surrounding the harbour is also of Venetian origin. In the Turkian period there were some extensions and the Lighthouse was built. The harbour is close to the Fortezza.
Today it is a place for tavernas. Still we see fishing-boats there. But most fishermen have moved with their boats to the new marina to the east.
The cache is a black film canister with logbook and a pencil. Please be stealthy since there are many people around, especially in the summer time.
