You will want to keep a record of these points for future use.
Trust me, you'll be glad you wrote them down.
The Conestoga Trail system has its northern terminus at the old
Lebanon Pumping Station just off route 322 (N 40 14.666, W 76
20.198). The Horseshoe Trail also crosses the CTS at this point.
The southern terminus is located at Lock 12 in York County just
across the Norman Wood Bridge and off route 372. At this southern
terminus, the CTS reaches the Mason-Dixon Trail
This section of the Conestoga Trail is mostly on the road. Be
sure to walk against traffic and be careful. An interesting feature
on this walk is the old mill on E. Meadow Valley Road. There is a
benchmark (KW0635)
in the front step of this building.
You are looking for a micro at stage 2 and a small at the final.
I will warn you that stage 2 could be tricky. I used an old CCCA
technique here. Be careful extracting the container so that it can
be hidden again. You might need let your fingers do the
walking.
