The Conestoga Trail system has its northern terminus at the old
Lebanon Pumping Station just off route 322 (N 40 14.666, W 76
20.198). The Horseshoe Trail also crosses the CTS at this point.
The southern terminus is located at Lock 12 in York County just
across the Norman Wood Bridge and off route 372. At this southern
terminus, the CTS reaches the Mason-Dixon Trail
This section of the Conestoga Trail features a long row of
Osage
Orange trees. You will find hedge apples all along the trail
during October and November. They have a knack for repelling
spiders, so grab a few to put in the dark corners of your home.
You are looking for a micro at stage 2 and a small at the final.
At the final you will become acquainted with the baying hounds of
Hackman's bend. They know you're there, you can't sneak past
them.
