Geocache Description:

My first Cache planted in the village of Barford.

Barford is a small village which sits about 3 miles south of Warwick Castle, 1.5 miles away from Junction 15 of the M40, so could be a quick CnD.

Most of the area is accessable via roads and tarmac footpaths. You'll need to walk on the grass and be prepared to reach above head height to get the Cache.

This is secreted on the original bridge going into the village. There’s plenty of parking available in the area.
You are looking for a camouflaged tube about 10 inches in length containing a log book, something to write with and a few swaps.
To find this you’ll need to be the village side of the river. It’s planted below ground level but above head height.
When the rain is heavy the river has a habit of bursting it’s banks, therefore I’ve had to place this off the ground to avoid it being swept away.
Be aware that water presents it’s own dangers and the current can be quite fast. To find you’ll have no need to get too close to the water unless you’re feeding the ducks.

****Please note due to being muggled recently I have replaced the container, it is not as big as the last one but will be ok for coins and small TBs, please bring something to write with.***
