Geocache Description:


The stone bridge in Konjic was built in 1682-83. The bridge was a masterpiece of seventeenth-century architecture and one of the finest monuments of it’s kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On 3rd March 1945, the stone bridge was destroyed by the German troops. The reconstuction of the bridge began in 2004., financed by the turkish government and the opening ceremony was on 23rd May, 2009.
