Geocache Description:

... in the dark!

The cache is a lunch-box sized container but it is not at the above co-ordinates.  You need to be here with a torch, to see the start of the trail.

From the car park follow a wide footpath beside the football pitches to the given coordinates.  You will be heading away from the children's play equipment, which you won't pass this area again until your return journey.  You should soon arrive at a signpost which points in three directions.

Shine your torch around until you see some glowing reflections in the trees.  A head torch works really well, but if you have a handheld torch, try holding it close to your head, or in front of your nose to get a strong reflection from the markers. The trail is along wide and smooth paths until very near the cache.

WHITE or YELLOW means you are on the correct route, RED means you are not.

The distance to the cache is just over half a mile, and you should manage the whole journey, there and back within an hour.

Once you have found the cache, retrace your steps to the main path and follow the long trail of RED markers. You should soon see the car park.  Alternatively, use your GPS to navigate to the parking coordinates.

Please use common sense when attempting this cache.  Go with someone else or tell someone where you will be.  Stick to the paths, until it is obvious you need to go off them.

If you would like a "guide", please contact me through my profile and a Hobgoblin or two can meet you at the car park.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE TRAVEL BUGS OR GEOCOINS (I think the cache may be too easy for a muggle with a torch to discover it accidentally)
