Geocache Description:

If you are looking for something a little bit different, this could be it! All the night caches seem to be miles away from this area, so, I offer for your observations, felicitations and later inebriations, a nocturnal pain that will be known as "Wear The Fox Hat, one". The pain will be no less intense because of the simplicity of the fox's complexity.

The first location is for information (no physical container) and a good place to park. From here your journey begins.

A NIGHT TIME hunt for an unspecified number of caches that gets progressively harder and meaner as you move from exploration to resignation without pausing at celebration. The kids might be able to help you with the first clue, but it will quickly sort the haff from the heat.

The good news is that it's not a nano or a micro but only the skilled and hardened traveller will complete this quest in one attempt. It will take you between 60 and 90 mins to walk the course, but plan on being out in excess of 4 hours with spare batteries for everything.

This cache is designed to exercise your eyes, mind and observation, not your legs but you might exercise your fingers scratching your head too. Almost impossible to complete all sections in daylight, the night is your friend! Weedon is a very old and picturesque village, but you wont see much of it in the dark. What you do see, you'll remember!

You are not looking for any of the regular types of cache containers!
(While I cannot guarantee there are not others in the geocaching world that are the same or similar, I very much doubt it, you should too).

Initial contents of the final cache include some very nice swag;
Digital camera, please take a photo of yourselves but do not remove.
Log, Stamp for your log too,
FTF certificate

Please do not give away in your log or by any other means, even encrypted, how you discovered any of the correct locations.

I had some trouble deciding what level of difficulty to attribute to this cache. The online Geocache rating system says it's 3/3 but it might be more like difficulty 4? May I ask if you would email me what you think the difficulty to be, either of the complete cache or just the parts you managed? I'll update the difficulty accordingly. Many thanks.

UPDATE; I'm advised that although the early parts are 3-3, 5-4 is a suitable rating for the later part of the cache!

This cache complies with the GAGB cache placement guidelines, no fences need to be crossed etc.

Special equipment may make life easier, something like a multi tool or screwdriver. Stealth as well as cunning required in equal measure, the fox and his friends will be watching and tracking your every move...
