This cache is one in the Redressing the Balance series started by
Purple Pineapple, and created to redress the balance of puzzle
caches to traditional caches in the area. All the caches are easy
finds, but with a twist which we hope will keep the local puzzlers
happy.
In order to complete all the caches in this gradually growing
series, you WILL need some of the following items:
a wire coathanger
a mirror
a length of string
a bottle of water
a magnet
a torch
a long pointy stick
a tennis ball
a 13mm socket and/or adjustable spanner
a screwdriver set
a pair of pliers
a set of steps or minimal tree-climbing skills
a cuddly toy
a sense of humour!
Once you find the cache it will become obvious which of these,
if any, you need to successfully retrieve it. The difficulty
ratings reflect the fact that this series is designed to test your
ingenuity. Thereis a retrieval method in mind for each cache, but
others may exist!
NONE OF THE CACHES NEED TO BE REMOVED BY FORCE in fact some
are quite delicate, so please don't attempt to retrieve the cache
if you do not have the required equipment. They have all taken us a
long time to prepare and we would be upset if they were broken or
damaged by over-enthusiastic caching! If you don't have the
equipment needed, please come back another time when you do.
