Geocache Description:

I've had this idea for creating a cache called Runcible Spoon for some time, (don't ask me why), and Paandtina's recent comment on Pear Head's Quince Street cache told me that this was the time and the place!

This cache will bring you to one of my favorite spots in Duluth, a striking bit of wilderness in the middle of the city. This is a cacher's cache - it's a two-stage multi, the final is an ammo can a short horizontal distance from stage 1.

The trek will take a bit of hummock hopping and rock scrambling, but has some great views. The site has a number of trails, only few of which go in useful directions. There are also steep slopes and drop-offs in the area, so don't try this in the dark or with young children. I parked on Robin Street, although the cache can be approached from Quince or Arlington.

Please be careful to replace stage 1 as you found it. The difficulty might be more of a 3.5, we'll see what folks have to say about it. Happy caching!
