Mid North Coast cachers here's your chance to meet others in the
growing community of local cachers, enjoy a pleasant few hours out
on the Harrington foreshores and swap collectables and
trackables.
All are welcome; come from far and wide.
Event duration: 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs.
Event location: Oxley Reserve (adjacent to Harrington Bowling
Club)
The published co-ordinates are in a picnic area with BBQ
facilities and tables, so bring along your snags and
condiments.
In case of inclement weather we will transfer to the Family
Lounge area of the nearby Harrington Hotel. In either event the
hotel offers a range of meals as an alternative to exercising your
own culinary skills.
If you haven't cached here before there are a number of caches
to challenge you.
Bring something for Santa's Sack Lucky Dip - leave one take one
- for suitably Xmas wrapped geocaching related items, e.g.
Geocoins, Travelbugs etc. Make sure you attach sufficient
information (if necessary) to any trackable item so that it can be
logged. That, of course, does not preclude other swaps being
exchanged on the side.
Take part in the Trivia Quiz Walk About; bring your GPS device.
The Quiz is designed to make you observe your surroundings but a
GPS is required for some parts. It is not simply a cache find and
will require a 2 KM walk. There is a prize for the winner. If there
are ties the winner will be decided by a random draw.
