Vattendraget efter vilket platsen är namngiven kommer från Frisjön i sydvästra Västergötland och ansluter mellan Skene och Örby i Marks kommun till Viskan.
Vid Fritsla, intill vägen mot Seglora, har vattendraget ett sevärt vattenfall. Fågellivet kring vattendraget är rikt, särskilt i området norr om Fritsla.
The watercourse after which the place is named runs from Frisjön in southwestern Västergötland and connects between Skene and Örby in Mark Municipality to Viskan. At Fritsla, next to the road to Seglora, has the river waterfalls worth seeing. The bird life around the river is rich, particularly in the area north of Fritsla.
