Geocache Description:

2nd Cole Harbour Cubs Present:
Scouting for Treasure 2

Event will run from 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm.

Coordinates will be on hand with hints at some temporary geocaches

This event is a chance to meet fellow geocachers in the area and find some treasures. Geocaching has become an important thing in Scouting as it gets the kids out for their hikes without complaining about going for a hike. It allows the kids to still observe nature, and leaders to teach the kids about their surroundings. At the same time, the kids know they are hunting for treasures in the woods which keeps their interest levels up. This event is in honor of the 2nd Cole Harbour's 2nd Scouting for Treasure event which will be held prior to this event with Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Ventures.
