The I Hate Pine Tree Caches (IHPTC) series came about when a
number of us decided that we hated hunting caches in pine
trees.
Yes Marci, (LuvWahoo) we love
your caches even if they are in pine trees. We do this to honor you
and the large number of caches you put out. Some of us just groan
when we see a pine tree - but we still hunt them.
For those of you who haven't hunted Marci's Pine Trees Make Me
Drool (PTMMD) series you don't know what you're missing. We just
had to come up with something to balance them out. The one thing
that the IHPTC caches will have in common will be that they will
NOT be in a pine tree!
If you are interested in joining the fun with an IHPTC cache or
two (or ten) of your own, click HERE for more
information.
Yes, you guessed it. It's hidden in the ivy. It is NOT on the
ground though so you should have a chance of finding it. Make sure
you wind up the log tightly and stick it in the lid first before
resealing the container.
Be careful to replace the cache as good or better for the
next cacher!
Head southwest from the parking coordinates and follow the Swan
Trail. Dogs are not recommended along this trail even though they
are permitted.
This is a park so NO NIGHT CACHING!
Congratulations to
TheUglyBug
for the First To Find!
