Geocache Description:

The I Hate Pine Tree Caches (IHPTC) series came about when a number of us decided that we hated hunting caches in pine trees.

Yes Marci, (LuvWahoo) we love your caches even if they are in pine trees. We do this to honor you and the large number of caches you put out. Some of us just groan when we see a pine tree - but we still hunt them.

For those of you who haven't hunted Marci's Pine Trees Make Me Drool (PTMMD) series you don't know what you're missing. We just had to come up with something to balance them out. The one thing that the IHPTC caches will have in common will be that they will NOT be in a pine tree!

If you are interested in joining the fun with an IHPTC cache or two (or ten) of your own, click HERE for more information.

Near the Peninsula shelter in Water Works Park. This cache will require EXTREME STEALTH at most times. If the shelter is busy you should probably just pass it by. It should not be as much of a problem in the off season but the park is used year round.

Expect cacher loving mosquitoes in season. This area of the park WILL flood in the spring or after very heavy rains so it may be inaccessible at times.

Be sure to wind up the log tight and put it in the lid first before sealing the container.

This is a park so NO NIGHT CACHING!
