IHPTC - Flooding Likely Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

ak8b: I've decided to not replace this one. This turned out to be just too likely to flood. Thanks to all who hunted.

Geocache Description:

The I Hate Pine Tree Caches (IHPTC) series came about when a number of us decided that we hated hunting caches in pine trees.

Yes Marci, (LuvWahoo) we love your caches even if they are in pine trees. We do this to honor you and the large number of caches you put out. Some of us just groan when we see a pine tree - but we still hunt them.

For those of you who haven't hunted Marci's Pine Trees Make Me Drool (PTMMD) series you don't know what you're missing. We just had to come up with something to balance them out. The one thing that the IHPTC caches will have in common will be that they will NOT be in a pine tree!

If you are interested in joining the fun with an IHPTC cache or two (or ten) of your own, click HERE for more information.

A small cache at the edge of Water Works Park. This area of the park WILL flood in the spring and after very heavy rains making the cache inaccessible at times. The cache itself should be high enough to avoid any flooding though.

There may be poison ivy in the area and there will certainly be mosquitoes in season. Room for small trade items only.

This is a park so NO NIGHT CACHING!
