A cache placed in honor of one of the greatest movie monsters of all time. 
There are movie monsters and then there are MOVIE MONSTERS. Godzilla or Gojira in Japan is a MOVIE MONSTER. Godzilla first appeared in a Toho Co. Ltd. movie entitled Gojira in Japan in 1954. It was released in the United States as Godzilla after being shortened and an American Actor (Raymond Burr) was added to make it more appealing to the American public. There were 28 films made by Toho Co. Ltd. Godzilla ranges from 164 to 328 feet tall and weighs a whopping 20,000 to 60,000 tons. It is said that Godzilla represented the fears of the Japanese people of the nuclear threat and was evident in the first film. Godzilla remains to be one of the greatest fictional heroes in the history of film, and is also the second of only three fictional characters to have won the MTV Lifetime Achievement Award, which was awarded in 1996. Godzilla also recieved a star on the Hollywood walk of fame in 2004. I placed this cache for two reasons. One will be evident when you go to retrieve it. The second was to pay homage to the Japanese culture for giving us one of the best movie monsters of all time.
