We found a seed cache (thanks to G.O. John and Carol!) in another forest preserve lately and wanted to give this little one a new home.
The cache is too small for trinkets. You are looking for a small tube about 1 inch diameter and 3 inch long. It holds a small pencil and a log book at present.
There is unfortunately a bit of trash (not much) in that area. I took some of it with me out of the forest but didn't have a large bag. Feel free to join me and "Cache In Trash Out" to help preserve the natural beauty of busse woods!
