Nezdenice
Základní údaje:
Cca 200 m nad pramenem Nezdenické kyselky, se nachází
opuštený, cástecne zatopený kamenolom „U
kyselky“. Asi 700 m JV výše v lese se nachází druhý
kamenolom „V háji“. Žíla teženého
pyroxenicko-amfibolického trachyandezitu dosahuje mocnosti 8-15 m.
Ve stavbe horniny se projevuje výrazná porfyrická struktura,
relativne velké krystaly vyrostlic amfibolu, pyroxenu a
trojklonných živcu (nejcasteji andezitu) jsou nepravidelne
rozmísteny mezi podstatne jemnejší základní hmotu. Ta
obsahuje také magnetit, biotit a sopecné sklo. Andezit je na
cerstvém lomu namodralý s nacervenalým nádechem, na navetralých
plochách cervenave nahnedlý.
Nezdenický andezit se vyznacuje sloupcovitou odlucností. V lomu
„U kyselky“ se težilo v l. 1912 – 1966, kdy
byly práce zastaveny pro velký prítok spodní vody. V lomu „V
háji“ se pracovalo v letech 1945-1973, kdy byla težba
zastavena pro nedostatek kameníku.
Vaše úkoly:
1. Najdete a vyfotte v Nezdenickém lomu kámen, o kterém si myslíte,
že je to andezit.
2. Urcete oblast, do které uvedená geologická lokalita spadá.
3. Napište, od ceho je odvozen název andezit?

Nezdenice quarry
Basic data:
About 200 m above Nezdenice mineral water spring there is a
disused, partially flooded stone pit called „By the mineral
water“. Higher in the woods, about 700 m southeast of the
pit, there is another stone quarry, „The Grove.“ The
thickness of the pyribole vulsinite vein is 8 – 15 metres.
The significant structure of the rock is phyric.
Quite large phenocrysts of amphibole, pyroxene and triclinic
felspar (andesite dominating) are distributed irregularly in much
finer matrix containing also magnetite, biotite and volcanic glass.
On the fresh fracture, andesite is bluish with a reddish tinge. The
weathered surfaces are reddish brown.
Characteristic for the andasite of Nezdenice is basaltic
parting.
„By the Mineral Water“ pit worked from1912. In 1966 the
exploitation had to be quit because of a large inflow of
groundwater.
„The Grove ” quarry worked in 1945-1973, when the
production was stopped because of the lack of stonemasons.
