along the tarmac path along the river.just off the path is a small bank with a very high wall. next to the wall are some trees. you are looking for a well camouflaged cache hiding next to a small tree stump.
please watch your children nr the river but this is a family friendly walk.
i did have a 8mtr error on my phone gps as location is covered with trees.#

the final cache off the walk follow the path and you will be back in matlock town center
i have decided to set some caches along the route i used to walk the family dog when i was a teenager.we used to walk along the footpath which goes along the river derwent and onto what is now the railway line to darley dale.
the walk has changed alot as where the rail line is now used to be a small path down the middle and some lovely trees which my brother and i used to cilmb.
