Geocache Description:

One of two different geo caches on the same site. This is “Clay Pit Two” a small traditional cache with just enough room for very small swaps or travel bugs, log and pencil, easy cache n dash or stay and explore the pretty area. Nearest parking is for 3 ish cars on Malders Lane.

This is a small clip lock traditional cache. Only big enough for log, pencil and small items. Starting off originally with 5 small LED torches as swaps and one travel bug. The nature reserve is on the site of the old Brick and Clay works. Amongst the paths, trees, ponds etc you can see the remains of old buildings from yesteryear. I have tried researching the site for more information but without much joy. If you are local and know more I would love to hear from you so that I can update this description with more information.

The nature reserve is a 600m or 800m circular walk which is popular with dog walkers and due to it being maintained and pathed is advertised as wheelchair friendly (though you need to go in through a kissing gate which needs to be opened by a disability ‘RADAR’ key if you know what one of those is!) The site is open 24 hours a day.

Please check out “clay pit One” on the same site which you have to walk past to reach this cache. It is a magnetic micro a short walk away with log book only.

BOTH OF THE CACHES ARE ON PATHED AREAS AND THERE SHOULD BE NO NEED WHAT SO EVER TO VENTURE UP ANY EMBANKMENTS, OR INTO THE POND OR MARSH AREA.

Due to tree cover, I HOPE the co-ordinates are spot on but please let me know how hard / easy you found this cache
