A cache on a old unmaintained fitness trail from the 70's. A beautiful walk in the woods with an occasional blast from the past.
Hiking around the lake at Timberlake Park we happened on an old fitness trail from the 70's. We found about half the stations. We hid the cache in a waterproof box at the turn-around point. Once you get there it should be pretty easy to find.
The trail is marked with orange flags. The path is mostly cleared with a few fallen trees you have to walk around or over. Be prepared to hike for a about around two miles to and from your car. On the trail there might be some muddy spots depending on the weather so watch where you step.
You probably should walk back out the same way you came.
