Rychla cyklo i necyklo keska

 

Cyklostezka je soucasti sidliste Stepnice postaveneho v letech 1973 – 1975 na pozemcich byvalyh ovocnych sadu. Lezi na levem brehu reky Moravy, v klidnem a cistem prostredi. Cyklostezka byla puvodnim dilem byvaleho Letu z roku 1980. Dlouha leta byla vyuzivana prave hlavne zamestnanci tovarny na vyrobu letadel Let na dopravu do prace a navrat domu. Tovarna prosla po roce 1989 obdobimi upadku vyroby a stezka jakoby kopirovala tento stav, az se problemy vyhrotily v roce 2007.

Cyklostezka v Kunovskem lese se pomalu meni v nebezpecnou past. Trasa rozpraskana koreny stromu si uz vyzadala nejedno tezke zraneni. Lekari hlasi fraktury lebky, otresy mozku, pohmozdeniny… Kdy se podari zalostny stav napravit, je ve hvezdach. Stale totiz nejsou vyresene vlastnicke vztahy.
Cyklostezka de facto lezi na uzemi nikoho. A podle toho i vypada. Vzdyt vyjet si na kole do Kunovskeho lesa uz chce notnou davku odvahy. Spojnici mezi velkym hradistskym sidlistem Stepnice a prumyslovou zonou v Kunovicich pritom hojne vyuzivaji zamestnanci byvaleho Letu, ale i dalsich firem. Hodne jich uz ale z obav o zdravi na kole Kunovskym lesem nejezdi, radeji voli jinou formu dopravy do zamestnani. Zranených pribyva.
Cyklostezku se snazi uz tretim rokem marne ziskat do vlastnictvi mesto Uherske Hradiste. Je dilem byvalého Letu, jenze neni zanesena v katastralni mape a neni ani soucasti konkurzni podstaty Letu. Mesto se snazi ziskat pozemky pod cyklostezkou do sveho vlastnictvi, vedou se posledni vykupova jednani se zahranicnimi majiteli. Driv se s budovanim nove cyklostezky nezacne, zvlast kdyz jeden kilometr stoji dva miliony korun.
Radnice dlouhodobe usiluje o ziskani pozemku pod stezkou do sveho vlastnictvi, aby mohla trasu prebudovat do sjizdneho stavu a zlepsila tak bezpecnost cyklistu.

Na cyklostezce je novy povrch i podkladove vrstvy a asfalt tak vystridal beton. Cyklostezka je dulezitou spojnici Uherskeho Hradiste a Kunovic pro pesi a cyklisty a vyznamna je i z hlediska turistiky a rekreace. Cykliste i bruslari se dockali opraveneho useku od sidliste Stepnice k premosteni silnicniho obchvatu Uherskeho Hradiste v delce 748 metru a sirce tri metru. Oprava prvni casti frekventovane cyklostezky prisla na 5,4 milionu korun, z toho poskytnuta dotace je 3,6 milionu korun.


The cycleway is a part of Štepnice urban settlement, built between 1973 – 1975 in place of former orchard. It is situated on the left bank of the Morava river, in calm and clean environment. The cycleway was the original work of the former Let company from the year 1980. It was used for years especially by the employees of this aircraft engineering factory for going to work and back home. Since 1989 the factory has experienced a decrease in production and the cycleway went through a similar process until the year 2007 when the problems became acute.

July 2007
The cycleway in Kunovský les is slowly transforming itself into a dangerous trap. The state of the path, cracked by the roots of trees, has led to some severe injuries. The doctors announce fractured skulls, brain concussions, contusions... etc. Nobody knows when this sorry state will be repaired, because the ownership relations are still not solved.
The cycleway’s location is de facto a no man’s land. And it sure looks like it. Anybody who wants to cycle trough the Kunovský les needs a lot of courage. The cycleway connects two big urban settlements – Uherské Hradište and the industrial zone of Kunovice. It is often used not only by the employees of the former Let company but also of other companies. Many of them are nevertheless refusing to go this way because they fear for their health and are therefore looking for another transportation to their work. The number of wounded people increases.The city of Uherské Hradište has been trying to get the ownership of this this cycleway for more than three years. It was made by the former Let company, but it is not registred in the cadastral map and it is not even a part of bankruptcy assets of Let. The city tries to get the land below the cycle track to it‘s ownership, the last purchase negotiations with external owners are conducted. Until these things are not solved, it is not possible to build the new cycle track, especially when 1 km costs around two milion czech crowns.
The city hall has long strived to obtain the plots of land to it‘s ownership, to rebuild the path to a passable state and to improve the safeness of bikers.

August 2010
The cycleway has got a new surface and underlying layers, so the concrete is replaced by asphalt . It is able to serve as a connection line between Uherské Hradište and Kunovice both for bikers and pedestrians – it is also significant for the tourism and recreational purposes. The bikers and the pedestrians have finally seen the repaired section from Štepnice to the flyover of the Uherské Hradište beltway in the length of 748 meters and width of 3 meters. The reparation costs were around 5,4 million crowns; 3,6 million crons of it being a grant.
