The „Teufelswand“ (rock face) is well-placed at the entry to the Pulkau valey. From the “Teufelswand” plateau, you can enjoy a great view to the wine quarter.
The „Teufelswand” is part of the route 3 from the “tut gut” trail, wich started at the parking area from the open air pool, the “forest bath” Pulkau. The Trail is not suitable for baby buggys. Plan thirty minutes to go for the trail (one direction). The cache is placed near the rock face plateau.
Die Teufelswand, am Eingang des Pulkautal liegend, verbindet das Waldviertel mit dem sonnigen Weinviertel. Vom Gipfel der Teufelswand aus, genießt man einen herrlichen Fernblick ins Weinland.
Die Teufelwand ist erreichbar über die Route 3, des „tut gut“ Wanderweges, welcher vom Parkplatz des Freizeitzentrums – „Waldbad Pulkau“ beginnt. Bei der Ziegler Mühle beginnt der Aufstieg (ca. 100 Höhenmeter) zur Teufelswand welcher nicht Kinderwagentauglich ist. Bis zur Teufelswand sollten sie ca. 30 Minuten Gehzeit einplanen. Das Plateau der Teufelswand ist ungesichert, weshalb der Cache nicht in der unmittelbaren Nähe des Wandabbruches platziert ist.
Nach Erreichen des Plateaus werden sie mit einem wunderbaren Fernblick zurück ins Weinviertel belohnt.
Vom Parkplatz des Freizeitzentrums "Waldbad Pulkau" sind in etwa eine halbe Stunde zur Teufelswand einzuplanen.
